About Meeting AI (Analytics List) Permissions

Updated over a week ago

先ほど日本語で確定した「最新の仕様(実装ロジック)」に完全に合わせた、英語の修正版全文を作成しました。

現在の曖昧な表現(Within accessible scopeOnly where view access is granted など)を排除し、先ほどの「公開予定+自分が参加している非公開予定」などの明確なルールに書き換えています。

Overview

The meeting analytics shown on /dashboard/recaps depend on your user role and the privacy settings of the specific events and projects.

Because of this, the number of analytics visible in the list may differ across users, even within the same team.

Permissions by Role

Depending on your user role, the actions you can perform and the scope of what you can view will vary.

How Visibility Works

The conditions for viewing "events hosted by others" in the analytics list differ by role as follows:

  • Owners / Admins / Members:

In addition to the events you are attending (including Private ones), all team events that are not set to "Private" will be displayed in the list.

  • Restricted Users:

Visibility is limited. You will only see the events you are attending, plus events within the projects you are a member of (excluding Private ones).

💡 Note: Viewing the List vs. Recap Details

Even if an event appears in the analytics list, if the meeting memo (Recap) itself is set to "Private," you cannot view the detailed content unless you are an actual participant in that specific event.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. Can Restricted Users only view "their own events"?

A. No, they are not limited to only "their own events."

In addition to the events they attend, Restricted Users can also view events within the projects they belong to (excluding those set to Private).

Q. Why does the number of analytics differ among users?

A. This is due to differences in visibility ranges based on user roles (e.g., Member vs. Restricted User) and whether certain events are set to "Private." For Restricted Users, the number of projects they participate in also directly affects the total number of visible events.

Q. Who can change sharing settings and Meeting AI settings?

A. Only Owners and Admins. Members and Restricted Users cannot change these settings.
