Setting up a booking request (approval system)

If you set the approval system, the host can confirm the booking by approving the date and time selected by the guest on the booking page.

From the booking page edit screen, go to Basic Settings > Booking Request (Approval) System, and select "Approval System" and save the settings.

The booking request system cannot be changed in the following cases.

  • Automatic assignment of appointments (round robin) is enabled.

  • The number of available bookings has been set.

  • A booking request that has not been approved or denied already exists.

Setting up a temporary booking.

The selected time can be registered or not as a temporary hold.

If you "Not register" as a temporary booking

For example, when sharing a Booking page with a guest that is set to "Not register", the guest selects 18:00. If you then share the same Booking page with other guests, the 18:00 selected by the previous guest will remain displayed.
(Any number of people can submit requests for the same time slot)

If you "Register" as a temporary booking

On the other hand, when you share the Booking page you set in "Register" with your guests, they select 18:00. If the same Booking page is then shared with other guests, the 18:00 selected by the previous guest will not be displayed.
In this case, if you deny the request of the guest who selected the 18:00 time slot, it will be displayed again.

From Booking Request to Approval

This section explains the process from Booking Request to Approval for both Hosts and Guests.

From the point of view of the host

1 . From the top page, go to the list of Bookings > Pending, and click on "Event Detail" next to the relevant Booking page.

2 . Click the Accept/Decline button at the top of the screen.

Notes when accept or decline requests

By approving a booking request, the following procedures are automatically performed.

・Confirms the appointment on the calendar as a confirmed participant

・Issue the URL for the online meeting

・Link the completed booking to the collaborating service

・Notify the guest/host of the booking creation

By denying a booking request, the following procedures will be automatically performed.

・The corresponding booking request will be treated as a cancellation

・Non-participation in calendar appointments

・Notify the guest/host of the booking cancellation

If a booking request expires after the start date and time, the following procedures will be automatically performed.

・The booking request will be automatically cancelled

・Mark the calendar appointment as no-show

・Notify the guest/host of the booking cancellation

From the point of view of the guest

1 . Open the link shared by your host and you will see the following page. Then select a convenient date and time.

2 . Enter your name, email address, etc., confirm that the date and time you selected are correct, and click "Submit".

3. Your Booking is completed. You will receive an email with meeting details to the email address you entered in ↑. Please check it.

Example:

When a guest purchases a service

For bookings requiring credit card payment, the URL to the payment page will be included in the e-mail to the guest upon approval of the booking request.

Also, the payment page will expire within 24 hours of the approval of the booking request.

Please check the guest's payment status from the connected Stripe account.
