If you set the booking location to “Phone,” the following settings will apply by default.

If you select “Call from the host” under Edit Booking Page > Location > Add Phone, guests will be required to enter their phone number when making a booking.
If you select “Call from the guest” under Edit Booking Page > Location > Add Phone, guests will have the option to enter their phone number when making a booking.
If you select ‘Call from the host’
If you select ‘Phone’ under ‘Location’ and choose ‘Host calls guest’, the booking page will require guests to enter their phone number by default.
If you select ‘Call from the guest’
If you select “Phone” under ‘Location’ and choose “Call from the guest,” the guest's phone number will be optional on the booking page by default. (Please enter the phone number you want to provide to guests and then click “Submit.”)
How to require guests to enter their phone number when calling you
To require guests to enter their phone number when calling you, you’ll need to set up a custom location and additional questions.
Guests can find your phone number on the booking request page, the booking confirmation email, and the reminder email, and use it to call you.
Configuring Custom Locations
Register the host's phone number as a location.
Click “Edit Booking Page > Basic Settings > Add Custom.”
Enter the host's phone number and click “Submit.” (Please enter the host's actual phone number.)
Save the basic settings. This completes the custom location setup.
Setting Up Additional items
Set up a form for guests to enter their phone number.
Click Edit Booking Page > Forms > + Add an item.
Under “General” for the form field, select “Phone Number” under “Type.”
Check the “required” box and click “Submit.” This completes the setup of the phone number input form.
