Q1. What is the difference between “Team members” and “Participants only”?
A. In the recap detail page, open Settings → Team visibility.
Team members
Team members who can access the related event can view the recap.Participants only
Only participants of the related event can view the recap.
Q2. Can users view recaps for private events in Google Calendar or Outlook?
A. If visibility is set to Participants only, only participants can view the recap.
For both Google Calendar and Outlook, if the event is marked private, non-participants cannot view it.
Q3. What happens if the recap is linked to an event in a private group?
A. Access becomes more restrictive.
Even if recap visibility is set to Team members, access is limited to users who can access that private-group event.
If set to Participants only, access is further limited to event participants only.
Q4. Is share link visibility (Private/Public) the same as team visibility?
A. No, these are separate settings.
Team visibility: who can view inside /dashboard/recaps
Share link visibility: who can view via the shared URL
You can configure them independently.
Q5. A recap I expect to see is not visible. What should I check?
A. Check in this order:
Is it visible on the list page? (/dashboard/recaps)
Can you open the recap detail page? (/dashboard/recaps/{recapId})
Is Team visibility set as intended?
Do you have access to the related event (including group/project access)?
If set to Participants only, are you included as an event participant?
Notes
The default may be Participants only (Private).
Even if recap visibility is broader, event-level access restrictions may still prevent viewing.
