Ability to allow editing of managed events

Updated this week

Ability to allow editing of managed events allows users or groups assigned to a booking page template to edit or not edit each item on the booking page.

When the edit permission is on

Users or groups assigned to the booking page template can edit the items on the booking page.

When the edit permission is off

Users and groups assigned to a booking page template cannot edit the items on the booking page.

The following items can be set to allow editing on/off.

  • Basic settings

(*URLs and internal administrative memos cannot be edited, regardless of whether editing is allowed on or off.)

  • Available booking slots

  • Member

  • Pages

  • Form

  • Workflow

  • Integration

Impact on Assigned Booking Pages When Edit Permissions Are Changed

When you toggle the edit permissions (on/off) in the template, the following behaviors apply to the assigned booking pages:

  • When changed from "on" to "off"

The assigned booking pages become uneditable, and the template's settings (such as form questions) are forcibly applied. Any unique settings or additions previously made on the assigned booking page will no longer be visible.

  • When changed from "off" to "on"

The assigned booking pages become editable again, and they will automatically revert to the unique settings (such as added questions) that were previously configured on each assigned page.

Notes

  • Regarding the display after saving settings

After saving changes in the template, if you navigate to another menu and then return, the edited content may occasionally appear as if it hasn't been applied. If this happens, please reload (refresh) your browser, or return to the dashboard once and re-open the edit screen. The saved content will then display correctly.
