What can I do with Notion integration?
Updated over a week ago

Notion integration makes it possible to automatically register the contents of reservations accepted by Jicoo in Notion.

This reduces the time and effort required to enter guest information based on Jicoo booking information, allowing for a more efficient document management flow.

*Notion databases are specified on an account-by-account basis.

Synchronizing bookings with the database

All bookings made on Jicoo are registered in Notion's database. The appointment information, name, and other information, along with a link to the appointment details in Jicoo, allows you to go back and forth between the two at any time.

The database is specified on an account-by-account basis, so common settings are not possible.

Synchronization to the database is performed when creating or modifying a booking.

*FullAccess permission for the team space or page on the Notion side is required.

The database to be linked can be selected for each booking page.

You can select any Notion database to synchronize with Jicoo. You can select the database to be linked from the workspace according to the purpose of the booking page, such as by department or by client.

Database properties can be selected for each item to be linked

You can select which properties of the database to reflect Jicoo items.

Specifying Templates

When creating a page, you can specify a page to be used as a template for the text content. Templates can only be specified for pages that have been set up through Notion integration. The pages that can be specified will be displayed according to the Notion permissions.

The template can be used to specify specific page content, including Notion templates, as the copy source.

Blocks that can be copied from the template are as follows

  • heading_1 : Block for creating heading 1.

  • heading_2 : Block for creating heading 2.

  • heading_3 : Block for creating heading 3

  • table : Block for creating a table.

  • paragraph : Block to create a paragraph.

  • bulleted_list_item : Block for creating a bulleted list item.

  • numbered_list_item : block to create numbered list items.

  • toggle : Block for creating a toggle. The toggle can be shown/hidden by clicking on it.

  • to_do : Block for creating tasks. Tasks can be assigned a deadline and priority.

  • quote : This block is used to create a quote. You can specify the author's name and source for the quote.

  • callout : A block for creating a reminder. callouts are displayed more prominently than other blocks.

  • synced_block : A block that is synchronized with other pages. synced_block is automatically synchronized when changes are made on other pages.

  • template : This is a template block. Template blocks allow you to easily change the design of the page.

  • column : This block is used to create database columns. Columns can store different types of data.

Please note that if blocks other than the above exist, they will be copied without the corresponding blocks on the destination page.

Embedding Title String

If you have selected "Booking Title" from the items to be linked to the database, you can specify a string to be used when adding the database contents to Notion.

The following values are available for the variable

  • Host Name : Name of the booking host.

  • Contact Name : Name of the booking guest.

  • Event Name : Title of the booking page.

  • Event Date : Date and time when the booking occurred.

  • Event StartedAt : Date and time when the booking was made.

  • TimeZone : Time zone of the booking

Sharing of settings

The automatic assignment of a person in charge allows you to specify whether or not to share settings and collaborate with other members when they become the booking host.

If the settings are shared, the other member must also have completed Notion integration.
