Candidate times are not displayed. I want to know why the adjustable time is blocked on the booking page (Debug mode).

If you view the booking page you created while logged in, you will see it in Debug mode.

By turning on the "Check Available Booking Times" toggle, you can see why certain times of the day do not appear as available for booking.

This function is only available to hosts. (Guests cannot view this function.)

# How to turn on Debug mode

1 . Open the booking page while logged in to Jicoo.

2 . In the black bar (labeled "Preview") at the top of the page, turn on the "Debug" toggle. *On a smartphone, tap the menu icon at the right end of the black bar to display the "Debug" toggle. *If the black bar does not appear, please make sure you are viewing the booking page in a browser where you are logged in, and that you are a host of that booking page.

3 . In Debug mode, time slots that are not shown to guests are displayed in gray. Select a gray time slot to open "Block details" and see why that time is not displayed as a candidate.

You can check the reason why you are blocked.

Conditions applied

Scheduled

There is an appointment created by Jicoo.

*Please check the calendar at https://www.jicoo.com/dashboard/calendars

Even if you have no calendar integration, appointments registered in the Jicoo Calendar will block candidate times. This includes appointments registered with names such as "Block".

*If "Block details" shows "Scheduled", check the name of the appointment at that date and time in the calendar. If you want to accept bookings for that time, delete the appointment and the candidate time will be displayed.

There is an external appointment

There are appointments from external calendars that are linked to Jicoo.

Google Calendar : sample@jicoohq.com

*If the address does not appear, there is an appointment with another member.

Resource

There are scheduled resources to be used for this booking.

This is the reason for blocking the booking, including the time before and after.

*Edit Booking Page > Basic Settings > Space/Facilities

Out of the range of acceptance

It is outside the range set in the Acceptable Range.

*Edit Booking Page > Availability > Adjustable Hours

Appointments not to be blocked

The appointment is available for booking because there is an appointment with the no appointment setting or an appointment that is not blocked by a keyword in the external calendar that is linked to the appointment.
Click here for more information about Google Calendar's public settings.

Display when there are unblocked appointments

Appointments that are set to "No appointments" are also displayed.

Guests can make bookings for appointments that have been set to "No appointments".

How keyword block rules are matched

Under booking page edit > Availability > Manage Availability, you can set rules that block or do not block appointments whose title contains (or does not contain) a given keyword.

The check only looks at whether the appointment title contains the keyword exactly as written. No normalisation is applied, so all of the following count as different characters.

  • Spaces — whether they are present, and how many

  • Full-width versus half-width characters (for example “/” and “/”, “:” and “:”, full-width and half-width letters and digits)

  • Punctuation (for example “、” and “,”, “ー” and “-”)

  • Upper and lower case letters

A single differing character means the title is treated as not containing the keyword. Because of this, a long keyword makes the rule fragile: a slight difference in the calendar appointment title takes it out of the rule, and slots appear or disappear unintentionally.

What to check when slots have disappeared

  1. Use debug mode to see why that slot is blocked

  2. Open your calendar and check the title of the appointment at that time

  3. Copy and paste the keyword and the appointment title side by side and compare them. Differences in spacing or character width are hard to spot by eye, so pasting them is the reliable way

  4. If you find a difference, changing the keyword to a short string that is reliably common to every appointment makes the rule stable

Reasons why appointments are not displayed in the preview mode

If the time interval is set to 60 minutes when the appointment acceptance schedule is set to 16:15-17:15 minutes, the candidates will not be displayed on the appointment page.

If the time interval is set to 15 minute increments, they will be displayed. To display the time, you need to set the start time in increments of 15 minutes.
