If an appointment exists on your calendar but the slot still appears as available on the booking page, there are several possible causes. Please check them in order.
You can also see why a particular slot is bookable directly on the screen using debug mode. Checking this first usually narrows down the cause quickly.
1. The appointment is set to “Free” instead of “Busy”
Jicoo only blocks slots for appointments registered as “Busy”. Appointments set to “Free” are not blocked and remain bookable.
The setting differs per calendar: Google Calendar / Outlook Calendar / iCloud Calendar
2. The calendar holding the appointment is not selected under “Calendar(s) to check for conflicts”
Jicoo only looks at the calendars selected under “Calendar(s) to check for conflicts”. Even when the account is connected, appointments on an unselected calendar are ignored.
If you use several calendars, check that the one holding the appointment is selected.
3. The appointment is on an account that is not connected to Jicoo
Appointments on accounts or calendars that are not connected are invisible to Jicoo, so they are not blocked. Please check that the account concerned is connected.
If it looks connected but still is not reflected, reconnect the calendar and check again. See this help page for the steps.
4. A keyword rule is set to “Do not block”
Under booking page edit > Availability > Manage Availability, you can set rules that block or do not block appointments whose title contains (or does not contain) a given keyword.
The check only looks at whether the appointment title contains the keyword exactly as written, so spaces, full-width versus half-width characters, punctuation and letter case are all distinguished. A single differing character means it does not match. See the debug mode help article for details.
Check whether an appointment is unintentionally matching such a rule. If debug mode shows “Appointments that are not blocked”, the cause is this item or item 1.
5. You declined an invitation to the appointment
For appointments you were invited to on your calendar, the response status decides the behaviour.
・Yes / Maybe: blocked
・No: not blocked
6. The appointment was deleted on the calendar side, but the booking still exists in Jicoo
Bookings made through a Jicoo booking page are not released by deleting the event on the connected calendar.
Please reschedule or cancel from the booking list in Jicoo instead. See this help page for details.
7. You belong to several teams and have not connected the calendar in the team concerned
Calendar integration in Jicoo is configured per team. If the same account belongs to several teams, a calendar connected in one team is not connected in another.
Check your teams from the icon at the bottom left of the dashboard, switch to the team concerned, and connect the calendar there.
To narrow this down, open the team calendar, select the member from the member icon, and check whether their appointments appear.
