About Outlook Calendar Publication Settings - Candidate days are not blocked

If you have a calendar linkage in Jicoo and the candidate dates are not blocked, first check to see if the "Calendar to check for appointments" is checked in the calendar linkage.

If there is no problem with the linkage, in order to block an appointment when scheduling with Jicoo, the Outlook calendar appointment must be set to show as "Busy," "Tentative," or "Out of Office".

*Any status other than "Free" or "Working elsewhere" is treated as busy and will be blocked in Jicoo.

*Please note that if you set "Free" or "Working elsewhere", the appointment will be displayed as a candidate date and registered as an appointment.

If candidate dates are still not blocked

Outlook appointments are retrieved directly from Outlook each time the booking page is displayed, so there is no synchronization delay. If candidate dates are not blocked even though the appointment is set to "Busy" or similar, please check the following.

  1. Is the calendar linked in the team that publishes the booking page?
Calendar linkage is set per team. Even if you have linked your calendar in another team, it is treated as not linked in the team that publishes the booking page. Switch to that team using the team switcher at the top left of the screen, then link your calendar and check the "Calendar to check for appointments".

  2. Is the calendar linked on the host's own account?
Jicoo blocks appointments based on the calendars linked by the user who is set as the host of the booking page. Please log in with the host's own account and check the linkage status.

  3. If the appointment is still not blocked
Please unlink the Outlook calendar once and link it again. If the appointment is still not blocked, please contact our support team with the booking page URL and the host's email address.
