Updated over a week ago

By temporarily storing your Google Calendar availability data, you can speed up the display of your booking page.

About Cache Settings

Enabling the cache setting temporarily stores your Google Calendar event information on Jicoo, resulting in faster loading times for your availability when a booking page is opened.

Benefits of Cache Settings

  • Improved loading speed for your booking page.

  • A smoother booking experience for your guests.

  • Calendar changes are automatically reflected.

How to Set Up

  1. Open your Calendar Connection Settings.

  2. In the "Calendars to check for availability" section, click the menu icon (⋮) in the upper right corner.

  3. Select "Cache Settings."

  4. Toggle ON the calendars you wish to enable caching for and click "Save." *Please note that it may take some time for the settings to be reflected.

Differences Between Turning Caching ON/OFF

When turned ON:

  • Your calendar availability data is temporarily stored on Jicoo.

  • Your booking page will load faster.

  • Changes to your calendar will be automatically synchronized.

When turned OFF:

  • The temporarily stored data will be deleted.

  • The latest information will be fetched from Google Calendar each time the booking page is opened.

Usage Notes

  • This feature is available on the Team plan.

  • To protect your privacy, event titles are encrypted before being stored.

  • If you have connected multiple Google Calendar accounts, you can configure this setting individually for each one.
