What is the Group?
A group is a feature that allows you to manage specific members and Booking pages tied to a Group.
How to use the Group
You can create groupts by inviting team members as follows, which can be used for different purposes on the dashboard.
・Manage members' Bookings by inviting them by department (Sales, CS, etc.)
・Create Groups with members from other departments assigned to specific tasks.
・Invite members who work together on a daily basis, such as supervisors and subordinates.
・Private Groups that are not open to other departments.
Create Group
1 . Click on "Group settings" from the gear icon in the upper right corner of the dashboard.
2 . Click on "Create group"
3 . Set the Group name and public scope, and click "Create".
【About Group Visibility Settings】 When creating or editing a group, you can choose the visibility setting from two options: "Public to Team" or "Private".
Public to Team: All members within the team can view the group.
Private: Only invited members can view and join the group.
💡 Note on Private Settings If a group is set to Private, it will be completely hidden from uninvited members. Please note that even if a user is a member of a booking page linked to the group, the group will not be displayed to them unless they are explicitly invited to the group itself.
4 . A group has been created.
Once the group is created, the created group will appear on the dashboard.
Supplementary information
Please note that if the group's public setting is set to “Private” instead of “Team,” the corresponding group will not appear in the red boxed area below.
Publication settings for a group can be made by going to Group Settings > 3-point icon for the appropriate group > Edit.
This is the Edit Group Settings screen accessed from Group Settings > 3-point icon for the group in question > Edit.
Public settings can be selected from “Team” and “Private”.
Add People
1 . Select the appropriate group, then select the icon next to the member and click "Edit".
2 . Enter the name of the member you wish to add and click "Update".
About Member Roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer) in Group Management
The "Admin," "Editor," and "Viewer" permissions selected when adding or editing members in Group Management do not determine whether the group itself is public or private. Instead, they reflect the operational permissions of each member on the booking page to which the group is assigned.
Specifically, these roles affect the following three areas:
Synchronization of Assignee Roles on the Booking Page The role assigned to each member in the group is synchronized directly as their assignee role on the linked booking page.
Permission to Manage Booking Pages (for Restricted Users) These roles are referenced when verifying permissions to modify settings, such as updating or deleting a booking page. For restricted users, Admins and Editors can perform these actions, whereas Viewers cannot.
"Primary Host" Determination for Event Creation When there are multiple hosts, the member with the Admin role is generally treated as the "Primary Host." Furthermore, the system requires and checks that at least one "Admin" host is included in the booking page.
💡 Note The Public / Private setting, which determines whether the group is visible to other team members, is an entirely separate visibility setting. It functions independently of this member role selection.
Booking page tied to group
Existing Booking pages can be tied to each group.
1 . From the Dashboard, click "Edit" on any Booking page.
2 . Select the group you wish to link to from the groups in "Members" and click Submit.
Once saved, the tied booking page will appear when the appropriate group is selected, as shown below.
Individual group utilization
Visibility of Events Created via Private Groups
Events (bookings) created using a Private group have strictly restricted access on the calendar. Event details can only be viewed by the following users:
The attendees of the event
Members participating in the respective Private group
Since the event details are not shared with other team members, this feature is highly secure for use cases where you only want to share information with specific members, such as:
1-on-1 meetings that you do not want others to see
Closed tasks exclusively handled by specific group members
Personal activities where you want to restrict viewing by others
