Can I show only the first available slot of each day?

Overview

When you turn on "Show only the first available slot of each day" in the booking page's scheduling rule settings, only the earliest available time slot for each day is shown and selectable on the public booking page, widget, and embedded pages — even if that day has multiple open time slots. Use this when you want to simplify the booking experience by narrowing guests' choices to one slot per day.

How to set it up

  1. Open the booking page edit screen.

  2. In the scheduling rule / limit settings section, turn on Show only the first available slot of each day.

  3. Save your changes. The setting applies consistently across the public booking page, widget, and embedded views for that booking page.

Behavior when this setting is ON

  • Even if a day has multiple available time slots, only the earliest one is shown and can be selected.

  • The displayed slot can be booked and rescheduled as usual.

  • If a guest opens the page with a URL that specifies a time that's no longer shown, they're automatically guided to the first available slot on the same day.

Behavior when this setting is OFF (default)

  • All available time slots for a day are shown, exactly as before. Existing booking pages are not affected.

How this relates to other settings

  • This is independent of settings that limit the number of bookings, such as "booking limit per guest" or "booking limit within a period." This setting only narrows down which slots are displayed and selectable per day — it doesn't limit how many bookings can be accepted in a day.

  • It works together with existing scheduling rules such as "acceptable hours," "time interval," and "minimum notice." The first slot shown is chosen from the candidates that remain after those existing rules are applied.
